- Tom Rath is a leader who
I came to know when I read "How Full Is
Your Bucket." I was so inspired by the
book that I immediately sent an email to The
Gallup Organization and Tom replied. We met
and have been friends ever since. In addition
to writing the foreword for Leadership Without
Borders, Rath is a best selling author of several
books including the following:
- John Kotter is a genius when
it comes to mapping process to change. I have
followed his models for many years with great
success. Here are two books I recommend written
by Kotter.
- Dr. Marty Seldman is profiled
in Leadership Without Borders. He is a globally
known coach who has worked with more than 1500
senior executives. Here are two outstanding
resources from Seldman that are being used and
implemented at Satyam School of Leadership.
- Elliott Masie is one of
the most passionate leaders I have ever worked
with. He is profiled in Leadership Without Borders
and has been a friend as well as colleague for
more than 20 years. Here is an excellent book
written by Masie.
- Ram Charan, Stephen Drotter,
and James Noel published The Leadership Pipeline
in 2000. I believe this book is an all time
classic for leaders who truly want to gain greater
understanding of their own career path choices
and for talent managers to develop learning
services to support them. This book is a must
read which I give to every new member of my
team.
- Two all time favorite resources for leaders
that I have, for years, utilized and referred
to other leaders comes from Kouzes and Posner.
- The Black Book of Outsourcing
- Blue Ocean Strategy
- One of the most incredible speakers I have
ever encountered is Jim Collins.
He has an amazing way of presenting thoughts
that is interesting and spell binding. His writings
are equally as good!
